| So...the alarm clock didn't go off this morning yet again...I missed my
lab prep meeting (which sucks because I have to TA it this afternoon)
and the boy was late for class at SJU. Ah well, typical Monday
morning I guess.
Anyway, I had to work last night. You'd think I'd finally realize
that working on Sunday nights is bad since I never start my homework
until then. I got to leave at 11 so I came home to start working
on all the things I absolutely ahd to get done when, much to my dismay,
I was called to come back in at 12:30 because drunk people showed
up. Not that I have anything against drunk people, but the stupid
ones just kind of piss me off, especially when they show up at 1am on a
Sunday and decide to yell things at me through those damn circle
windows and throw our dishes across the dining room. It's
questionable if I'll work after Easter break...I only have 3 or 4
weekends left of my senior year and I'd rather not spend them catering
to my drunk classmates Friday and Saturday nights when I could be drunk
with them instead.
3 days of class this week...thank God. Too bad I have to go home
for a dentist appointment and job interview and too bad I have 2 tests
to study for next week. I'm sick of school...

| Happy St. Patty's Day!
Today you can find me either:
A. At Happy Hour (I haven't been in forever because of work...I miss Bro. Willie's Pub!)
B. Drinking REAL Caribbean Rum! This has been an event 4 months in the making!
C. At the bar (I know, not a huge shocker)
And to my friends in Ireland...I hope you're already drunk and celebrating due to the time difference!

| Just found out I got accepted to vet school at the University of Minnesota!!!! Time to celebrate :)

| So I haven't updated in a while...
I'm 21 now!! Not like it's really mattered since I've been a
regualr at the bars since last August. I don't think I've gotten
carded since October. But the birthday was fun anyway, what I
remembered of it at least. 14 shots and a couple of beers in 2.5
hours is not a good idea, but you only turn 21 once so why not go all
out.
Today's the last day of spring break and I'm not at all looking forward
to class. I spent most of my week at home :( working on stuff I
needed to get cleared up for this summer and next fall. Still
haven't quite figured out what I'm going to do, but I should know in a
couple of weeks if I'm going to vet school or not. Wish me luck!
Thursday the boy and I drove up to Duluth for a bit of skiing and
then we visted Brad and stayed at his place Friday night. He and
his roommate ended up having a kegger which turned out to be a ton of
fun. We ended up playing a few rounds of fuck the dealer and
connections during which I ended up finishing off 4 beers...needless to
say I, being a lightweight, ended up pretty drunk at only 9pm.
Later that night I went upstairs to find Brad and I look over and
notice an old guy (old as in 48) walking out of the bathroom. I
give Bad a confused look and ask what he's doing here. Well, I
guess he just stumbed in, bought a cup, and joined the kegger
fun. Made for an interesting night as the kitchen was filled with
chants of "steve the tank! steve the tank!" as he did a keg stand and a
beer bong. I, along with every other girl at the party I'm sure,
had the pleasure of hearing his life story. What a weird old
man...pictures are up on face book if you're interested...they aren't
anything spectacular...

| So it's spring semester already and potentially my last semester as a
college student...hasn't really hit me until now. Not gonna lie,
i'm kinda scared. There's still so many things I still want to
do. If I get accepted to the U for vet school I might end up
deferring for a year (provided I can think up a damn good reason to
convince them) and just be a bum and travel the world anyone wanna come
with? I need a travel buddy!).
Anyway, break was awesome-saw some people I haven't seen in what feels
like forever. It was fun to catch up on old times and see how
much everyone has changed. It's crazy...The last two weeks were spent
canoeing in Eveglades National Park which was amazing. I'd never
been there before and it was beautiful. I'm still going through
withdrawl and having a tough time adjusting to the whole school swing
of things.
Still haven't figured out what I want to do this summer jobwise.
I've decided I don't really feel like research again...last two summers
were plenty for now. I want to be outside! However,
speaking of jobs, I did get a new one today. I'll be working at
Luigi's doing something-didn't bother to ask what exactly my job was
when I got hired...oops.
oh well...tomorrow's Thursday...night class 6-9 then of to Sal's for beer pong. It's been way too long.
